3-star OL Jaden Wilkerson commits to Miami

Offensive lineman is a massive need for Miami in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Offensive line coach Alex Mirabal and the Miami coaching staff recorded a significant recruiting win on Wednesday.

Miami now has eight commitments in the class of 2025 with two of those being offensive players. Wilkerson made the addition to the Hurricanes to join the haul with offensive line Miami commit Takaylen Muex.

Wilkerson, a 6-foot-6, 330-pound offensive tackle from Edgewater (Orlando, Florida), is a three-star recruit and is ranked as the No. 96 offensive tackle in the nation by 247Sports. The Miami commit is also ranked as the No. 88 offensive tackle in the nation in the class of 2025 by On3.

The Florida native just recently visit Miami and Coral Gables and the Hurricanes did a good job of moving the needle for him.

Here is what he said after the official visit to Miami a couple weeks back:

“It was great. Got to have the full Miami experience being able to go on a boat and stuff like that. Got to get a deep dive in to the atmosphere and academic part of the school. I just love the people at UM and it so where where I can really see myself.”

The Hurricanes offered Wilkerson in late January and love his frame at 6’6 330 pounds.

He took a visit to Rutgers last weekend but he quickly announced his decision date and led to a addition to Miami.
