Miami Hurricanes Basketball: Miami offers rising 2025 SF Jordan Scott

Miami offered a 2025 small forward prospect out of South Lakes, Virginia

“After a great conversation with Coach Larranaga, I’m excited to announce my official offer from The University of Miami,” Scott posted on social media.

Scott is a 6-foot-5, 165-pound shooting guard from South Lakes High School in Virginia. He is ranked as the No. 81 in the 2024 class, The No. 21 player in his position rankings and the No. 2 player in the state of Virginia.

So far, Scott has 16 offers including the Hurricanes, Maryland, California, FSU, George Mason, George Washington, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Penn State, Pitt, Radford, Texas A&M Virginia Tech, Washington, and Georgia.

Scott suits up for the Virginia Elite 16U AAU team, and he has put on a show in the first couple sessions of the Under Armor Next League from couple weeks ago. He put up 19 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. In the other game, Scott was able to put up 20 points, nine rebounds, eight blocks, three assists, and two steals while shooting 3-of-4 from three-point-range

The numbers that Scott is putting up are impressive. He is a true superstar who should probably be playing in the 17U league. He is too good for the 16U league.
