2026 CB Rodarion Jones recaps his Miami’s cookout visit ‘It went great… it was my first time on campus’

CanesToday contributor and owner Trinton Breeze caught up with tons of recruits over the past weekend on how the cookout went for each recruit and for 2026 cornerback Rodarion Jones it went very well.

“It went great it was my first time on campus. Finally got to meet the coaches and other staff members that are recruiting me. Coach Jackson and Coach Sewell the assistant defensive back coach all kept in contact with me and also got to chop it up with Coach Mike Rumph good guy and gave some good tips throughout the day and I also camped as well and that went great. What stood out to me was the atmosphere of everything and seeing everything for the first time the campus looked great. Just a good first experience overall Definitely gonna catch a game during the season.” said Jones.

The Havana (Fla.) native is becoming a target for the Hurricanes in the class of 2026 class as they offered the Miami Carol City cornerback back in May of 2023 were the Canes were his second offer. He just transferred to Carol City from Gadsen this year.

Jones may be an upcoming junior however the kid already got 14 offers as a 6-foot-2, 175-pound corner, his offer list has power five schools such as Miami, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Maryland and more.

As a sophomore for Gadsen, he racked up a total of 18 tackles averaging 3 tackles per game to go along with 5 pass deflections.
