3 Miami players to watch against Florida A&M

After a monster road win against a Florida squad, Miami returns to Hard Rock on Saturday for a quick non-conference game. It’s FCS week in the Sunshine State.

The line for the game still has not came out yet however Miami is expecting to be a heavy favrotie, heavy favorite for a reason as the Canes have major size, speed, and talent advantages at multiple positions. But football games are never played on paper. Regardless of how the game unfolds on Saturday at Hard Rock, a few players will be stepping into a bigger spotlight.

Damien Martinez

We saw a glimpse of Martinez’s physicality of play by running over the Gators defensive back which you can see below:

It was more of a Cam Ward show last week against Florida. Tomorrow, I’m looking forward to seeing the Damien Martinez show. Florida A&M doesn’t have a great rush defense, and with the Hurricanes’ offensive line being one of the best in the ACC, I trust Martinez to find the holes and take it to the end zone.

A potential JoJo Trader sighting

After standing out in fall camp, JoJo Trader dide to play against the Gators. It’s unclear why, but giving him some playing time this upcoming weekend presents a great opportunity for him to get some reps.

Miami does not like to release their depth chart until game time so we will see if he will be on the depth chart.

Florida A&M NEW QB is nothing to mess with

We have been talking about it on the site for a while now, former FAU signal-caller Daniel Richardson, one of the transfers who joined the offense this offseason, has recently been announced as the Rattlers’ starter, bringing a wealth of talent and promise to the team.

When it comes to Daniel, his stats from the first game speak volumes. In a thrilling showdown against Norfolk State, he led the Rattlers to an incredible comeback victory from a 14-0 deficit. Richardson’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, completing 22 of 30 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns.

He has been playing against less experienced teams, but it’s important to be prepared in case he manages to make some good passes against our defense.
