3-star DL Walter Mathis Will Visit Miami Next Weekend
It has been said that three-star defensive lineman Walter Mathis will visit Miami next weekend. This is suppose to be a huge recruiting month for the Hurricanes coaching staff and getting Walter on campus could push the Hurricanes ahead of the Clemson Tigers which is considered the leader in his recruitment
Walter Mathis is a 6-foot-3, 285-pounder who took an unofficial visit to Miami on March 23 and now he has plans to return to South Florida. That trip is locked in for June 9.
It has been a fun journey in Walter’s recruitment.
Walter is ranked as the No. 427 overall nationally. Miami would obviously bulk him up if they were ever to land him.
Top schools such as Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Alabama and Tulane have officially thrown their names in the hat with an offer out to the Georgia product so it will interesting where he will land in the near forte with Miami and Clemson also pushing.
