3-star LB Ezekiel Marcelin commits to Miami

BOOM! Miami Hurricanes coaching staff’s notified that three-star Miami Central linebacker Ezekiel Marcelin has committed to Miami.

He took his second official visit to Pittsburgh earlier this month, spending three good days down on the South Side, but ultimately, the allure of the hometown Hurricanes was too much to overcome.

He picked up offers from Auburn, FAMU, FIU, Florida State, Kentucky, Liberty, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Penn State, Pitt, Stanford, USF, SMU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, West Virginia, West Kentucky and Western Michigan during his recruiting process.

247Sports rates Marcelin as the 34th-ranked linebacker and 45th-ranked recruit from Florida while Rivals rates him as the 15th-ranked inside linebacker and 61st-ranked recruit from Florida. He was the top-ranked recruit in Pittsburgh during his official visit.

He is Miami’s 11th commitment in the class, joining his Central/RAW teammate DB Amari Wallace, QB Luke Nickel, RB Girard Pringle, TE Brock Schott, TE Luka Gilbert, OT Jaden Wilkerson, OT Demetrius Campbell, OG TK Muex, LB Elijah Melendez and CB Tim Merritt. Marcelin is the 7th Floridian in the class according to CanesInsight.
