4-star CB Ben Hanks Jr. officially puts Miami among his top 3 schools

The Miami Hurricanes find themselves in a race four four-star cornebrack Ben Hanks Jr out of Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington.

Louisville, Florida, and Miami all made the cut for him as the Gators seem to be in the lead for him at the moment.

On the 247Sports Website, Hanks is listed as measuring 6-foot-1 and weighing 160 pounds. Throughout his recruitment journey, he has received nearly 30 scholarship offers from a variety of prestigious programs.

Hanks’ father Ben was a defensive back and linebacker at Florida from 1992 through 1994.

Currently, 247Sports is the most bullish on him, ranking Hanks at No. 71 nationwide, No. 8 at cornerback and No. 12 in Florida within his class.

Hanks has 73 tackles, two tackles for loss, eight interceptions, 11 pass breakups, four fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and two blocked field goals in his first three high school seasons.

Seems like a Florida lean here.
