4-star safety Bryce Fitzgerald commits to Miami

Just a day removed from locking up Mykah Newton, Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes have added yet another big-time commitment in Bryce Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald is a four-star talent, according to the On3 industry ranking. He’s ranked No. 213 overall and No. 19 among safeties in the class of 2025. He’s also ranked No. 33 in the state of Florida.

The 6-1, 175-pound safety out of Columbus, FL. took official visits to Miami, Florida, and Florida State in June before choosing the Hurricanes right before the Hurricanes season starts in August.

The Columbus Explorers finished the season 13-2 with a win against Mandarin in the 4M state championship games.

Miami now owns the No. 8 recruiting class in the nation and No. 1 in the ACC, a group featuring  DB Amari Wallace, DB Jaboree Antione, LB Gavin Nix, S Hylton Stubbs, LB Ezekiel Marcelin, QB Luke Nickel, RB Girard Pringle, TE Brock Schott, TE Luka Gilbert, OT Jaden Wilkerson, OT Demetrius Campbell, OG TK Muex, LB Elijah Melendez and CB Tim Merritt along with more.

Who’s next for the Miami Hurricanes?
