4-star Syracuse LB commit Izayia Williams previews weekend cookout visit ‘I want to see everything… I never seen anything down there before’
The Miami Hurricanes are having one of their biggest recruiting weekends coming up holding more than 50 people on campus for a cookout this weekend.
One of the prospects we’re keeping an eye on is 2026 four-star Syracuse linebacker commit Izayia Williams. We caught up with him to discuss his recruitment and he shared his thoughts on an upcoming visit and what he hopes to see from the coaches.
“I want to see everything really I never seen anything down there before” Said Williams.
He finished his sophomore season with 40 total tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles.Â
Williams is the No. 49 overall prospect and No. 5 safety in the class of 2026. He ranks as the No. 3 safety and No. 6 player in Florida, according to On3 Sports.
