ACC announces new football schedule model; Miami headed to California next season

The ACC has announced the new 17-team football schedule model for the next seven years.

The new scheduling model, which has been put in place because of the new additions to the ACC, was announced on the ACC Network on Monday night. California, Stanford, and SMU are going to be joining the conference next year, forcing the ACC to nix the old model that had previously been announced.

–Miami has protected annual rivalries against FSU and Virginia Tech. Protected rivalries vary by each school.

Here’s a look at the ACC schedule for Miami over the next seven years:

Home: Duke, Florida State*, Virginia Tech*, Wake Forest

Away: Cal, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Syracuse

2025

Home: Syracuse, Louisville, NC State, Stanford

Away: Florida State*, Pittsburgh, SMU Virginia Tech*

2026

Home: Boston College, Florida State*, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech*

Away: Clemson, North Carolina, Stanford, Wake Forest

2027

Home: Cal, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Virginia

Away: Duke, Florida State*, NC State, Virginia Tech*

2028

Home: Duke, Florida State*, Stanford, Virginia Tech*

Away: Boston College, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Virginia

2029

Home: Clemson, North Carolina, SMU, Wake Forest

Away: Cal, Florida State*, NC State, Virginia Tech*

2030

Dates for the ACC opponents during the 2024 season will be announced January 31, 2024, on the ACC Network.
