The Miami Hurricanes and coach Mario Cristobal just landed their first commitment of the summer and their seventh commitment in the 2025 class, three-star cornerback Timothy Merritt has committed to Miami he announced his decision on Sunday afternoon.
Merritt was in Coral Gables this weekend and soonley after he left he will be taking his talents to Miami.
According to Rivals’ rankings, Merritt is a 4-star recruit and the No.36ranked cornerback in the 2025 class. He currently holds 24 Division-I offers.
Merritt is a versatile, rangy defensive back at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds. He is position flexible as he can play cornerback or safety at the college level.
