BREAKING: Michigan Forward Transfer Cameron Williams Transfers To Miami
BANG! Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball team and Tricia Collop has just landed their fifth player out of the portal with Michigan forward transfer Cameron Williams announcing her commitment to Miami on her instagram.
Williams, after starting all 33 games in 2022-23, started in just 16 of the Wolverines’ 34 games this season. She started in the team’s first eight games.
Although Williams registered career highs in both points and minutes per game, there simply wasn’t enough increase in production from the senior forward.
She started and led Michigan with 18 points in a season-ending loss to Kansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. The 6-foot-3 forward from Chicago appeared in 109 career games for Michigan with 39 starts.
