Calais Campbell signing with Miami Dolphins for 17th NFL season

Former Miami Hurricanes defensive lineman Calais Campbell will be signing with the Miami Dolphins for his 17th NFL career season.

Campbell, 38, played for the Atlanta Falcons on a one-year deal last season after spending the previous three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. He spent the first 12 seasons of his career with the Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars.

He earned Walter Payton Man of the Year honors in 2019 and was runner-up for AP Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.

The Dolphins defensive line is set to look much different in 2024 after both Christian Wilkins and Raekwon Davis departed in free agency. To fill that void, Miami has brought in several players on cheap deals, including Teair Tart, Neville Gallimore, and Jonathan Harris.
