CT Gameday: Miami Kicks off the Season vs. Florida
The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here. Mario Cristobal will kick off his third season as the Miami head football coach this Saturday when the Hurricanes travel to Gainesville to play the Florida Gators at Ben Hill Griffin. All of the exciting action begins at 3:30 on ABC.
Cristobal spent the offseason problem-solving to remedy the Hurricanes’ weaknesses. Miami added four of the best quarterbacks and running back from the transfer portal, recruited Matt Merritt to Coral Gables, and reeled in one of the most talented safety available, Meesh Powell. The Canes have explosive playmakers and proven play-callers. They appear to have rediscovered a recipe for success. We’ll see if it results in another masterpiece when the long football drought ends this afternoon at Ben Hill Griffin.

Miami vs. Florida: TV, Radio, Line
Miami is an 2.5-point favorite against Florida with a total set at 54.5. Mario Cristobal went 6-7 last season against the spread.
Jesse Palmer and Joe Tessitore will be on the call for ABC. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. If you can’t attend the game or stream the Canes, you can always come down to the Titanic Brewery and watch the game with CIS.
