Cleveland Guardians Select Rafe Schlesinger In The Fourth Round Of The MLB Draft
Miami’s left handed pitcher Rafe Schlesinger was drafted by the Cleveland Guardians with the No. 113 pick in the Fourth Round of the 2024 MLB Draft Monday afternoon.
Rafe was with the Hurricanes for three season, Â During that time, he pitched in 58 games and made 15 starts. All of his college starts came as a junior in the 2024 season.
He had a record of 109-71 and hosted the NCAA Regional twice.Â
He struck out a total of 115 batters while walking 52 in college. That gave him a strikeouts per nine innings of 8.7 and a walks per nine innings of 3.9.
