CT Gameday: Miami goes to NC State still trying to keep the winning streak alive

The (6-2) Miami Hurricanes will be hosting the (5-3) Virginia Cavaliers 8:00 p.m. EST, on ACCN.

UM will look to build on the positive momentum that was generated during a 29-26 overtime win over Virginia last Saturday and now today Miami will take on NC State.

Miami (6-2, 2-2) is coming off of a scary win 29-26 win over Virginia.

Van Dyke is expected to fully return to action this week

NC State (5-3, 2-2) is coming off a positive result of their own, earning a win 24-17 win over the Clemson Tigers.

UM owns the all-time series against NC State, 11-5, and Miami is on a four-game winning streak in the series and has not lost since 2008 in Raleigh, 38-28.

NC State has found new life since benching Brennan Armstrong and going to MJ Morris at QB. And, under Dave Doeren, the Wolfpack are usually a tough out, a physical team, and one you cannot overlook. Miami has had success against NC State in recent years, and are on a 4-game win streak in this infrequent matchup. Hopefully, that run of success continues on Saturday night.
