DJ Pickett officially down to three schools with Miami included

One of the biggest Miami Hurricanes targets in the 2025 class has trimmed his list to just three with the Hurricanes included.

There other teams including the Canes are Oregon and LSU which it all seems like his recruitment is up in the air right now with the Oregon Ducks having a slight edge to land him after a late official visit to Oregon.

DJ has scheduled his commitment date for July of the 17th.

He recently visit Miami for an unofficial visit and here is what his parents told CanesToday about his trip.

“Miami showed our family a great time. I feel like Miami did an amazing job of showing us how DJ would fit into the organisation on and off the field. We were impressed this weekend.”

Pickett has been to Miami’s campus five times four of them being unofficial and the recent one in June being a official.

Pickett has explosive speed and takes long strides. He could also project as a cornerback at the next level.

The five-star runs track and also plays baseball and basketball. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound defensive back plans to play in the 2025 Under Armour All-America Game.

The lengthy safety is the No. 3 player at his position in the 2025 recruiting class. Pickett is the top-ranked player in Florida and the No. 7 player in the country in the 2025 recruiting cycle, per 247Sports.
