Five-star OT Jackson Cantwell narrows list, puts Miami in top choices

Five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell out of Nixa (Mo.) trimmed his list to just 14 with the Miami Hurricanes included.

Along with the Hurricanes, USC, Oregon, Texas A&M, Arkansas, LSU, Missouri, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan, Ole Miss and Nebraska all made the cut.

“Miami has a very good coaching staff for the OL (Coach Cristobal and Mirabal) and has a lot of great history. It’s also a great place to live.” He told On3.

The 6-8, 305-pound offensive tackle ranks as the No. 4 football recruit in the Class of 2026, No. 2 offensive tackle in the nation, and No. 1 recruit coming out of the state of Missouri, per 247 Sports.

In his freshman and sophomore seasons combined, he had 128 pancake blocks in 18 games. Get the maple syrup out because a lot more pancakes are coming as Cantwell becomes an upperclassmen.
