Florida Panthers dominates the Bruins, Cats down Boston 6-1

WOOOO! GO CATS GO! Them Florida Panthers are back in the win column with the Panthers downing the Boston Bruins 6-1 at Amerant Bank Arena.

The Panthers had 28 shots on goal in the first period but only seven of those shots go to the Boston Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman.

You could easily tell that the Bruins were trying to get into Matthew Tkachuk’s head by just targeting him every time.

The Panthers went 0-2 on the power play in the first period and their were 48 hits in the game with 28 by Florida and 20 by the Boston Bruins

Boston ended up striking first in the first period at about 12:00 minutes remaining, with Coyle scoring the goal to make the game 1-0 for the Bruins.

Second period hit and the Panthers were looking for something to go in after coach Paul Maurice got on them in the locker room after the 1st period he told the announcer of ESPN.

The Panthers ended up tying the ball game with Steven Lorentz redirecting a Brandon Montour shot from the point past Jeremy Swayman. That put a lot of momentum on the Panthers side.

And the Cats would strike again at about 9:49 into the second period after Aleksander Barkov buries a goal from a lose puck to make the Panthers go up 2-1.

As soon as people were leaving to go to the beer lines Gustav Forsling’s blasted one and it got past Jeremy Swayman with 1.3 seconds left in the frame, to make the Panthers have all the momentum going into the 3rd period.

Third period hit and the Panthers were not slowing down with the Panthers scoring their fourth goal just about two minutes after the period started, Eetu Luostarinen nailing a goal to make the Panthers go up 4-to-1 the goal was assisted by Alexander Barkov.

After that goal by Eetu Boston ended up pulling Swayman out of the game to put Ullmark into the game.

GO CATS GO! Would just not stop playing, can you guess what happened? Yep, you guessed it was another PANTHERS GOAL!! This time the goal was by that man Alexander Barkov his second on the day, and the Panthers fans were starting to feel it at that point.

The Cats would not even stop their them wild and hungry Panthers would score on another power play goal by Montour finding the net and the place was rocking after that, and the Bruins were getting frustrated.

Twelve guys were tossed out of the game, that has to be some sort of record, right?

Panthers had 76 total hits in Game 2 that ended up a team record for total hits in a game for the Panthers.

The Panthers do have the only two power play goals in the series so far.

It was a wild one today I’m going to sit back enjoy this win and watch the Oilers and Canucks go at it. And tell us your thoughts was on this game and we will see you all in Boston, Friday, Go Cats!
