Mario Cristobal and three of his best players are down in Charlotte for ACC Media Days 2024 today. And they have answered questions, however I wanted to hear a little more.

1. More about how the newcomers are coming along. The main thing I would inquire about if I were in Charlotte is the progress of the freshmen players as they head into Mario’s third season.
2. Why no depth chart? Miami reporters down in Charlotte were surprised to see Miami did not distribute its current preseason depth chart this year, therefore we will have to wait until the fall to get a look at the projected roster. But why, I mean I guess we can maybe look back at the Springs?
3. Who we should get excited about? We know the key veterans who are expected to shine — Cam Ward, Damien Martinez, Kiko Maugioa, Xavier Restrepo, and Rueben Bain just to name a few — but who are the sleepers to make a major impact this fall. Who are the surprises? Who is going to steal some playing time? Give us some unexpected names to look out for going into the fall camp.
