Franciso Mauigoa named for defensive player of the game against Miami (Ohio)
The season kicked off for the Miami Hurricanes on Friday night with a 38-3 victory over Miami (Ohio). The performance left Hurricanes fans very satisfied with what they saw from the defense.
After the game, Franciso Mauigoa was notified that he was the defensive player of the game with finishing with five tackles, two of them being solo tackles, with three assist tackles on the day.
Miami next hosts No. 23 Texas A&M on Saturday, September 9, at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
