HALF: Kyshawn George’s braids wants the Miami-Clemson halftime score:

Today’s halftime report is brought to you by Kyshawn George’s braids. At the Watsco center up in Coral Gables, Miami men’s basketball leads the Tigers by a score of 41-35 at the intermission.

All five Miami players found the bucket through the first half, led by twelve points and two rebounds from freshman small forward Kyshawn George. Forward Norchad Omier wasn’t far behind with nine and on 4/6 on shooting. Veteran forward Matthew Cleveland was stuffing the stat sheet with seven points, two rebounds, and three assists.

Miami shot 37 percent overall from the floor and 7-16 from long range, compared to just 43 percent overall from Clemson on a 6-15 clip from deep. Clemson won the rebounding battle after 20 minutes, 21-16.

It was a slow start offensively for both squads, but Miami took a quick lead after a TV timeout, but it did not last long after Clemson started to hit some threes behind the arc. Fater that Clemson would take the lead form there. Also can we give props to the freshman SF Kyshawn George or as I like to call him “Key”shawn George.
