HALFTIME: Miami 28, FAMU 3

 Miami is now rocking and rolling at Hard Rock with a three-touchdown lead.

Cam Ward threw a touchdown in just two plays in his home opener debut at Hard Rock. This included a 17-yard pass to Elijah Arroyo going across the middle for a touchdown.

Ward completed 13 out of 16 passes in the first half, gaining 223 yards and scoring three touchdowns after starting 6-for-6 with 121 yards.

The Hurricanes’ defense heated up early, with linebacker Wesley Bissainthe making a crucial tip pass interception on a third down by FAMU to give the Canes an early advantage.

Jaden Harris and Tyler Baron are leading the Hurricanes in tackles, with each of them having four tackles.
