HALFTIME: Miami leads the Louisville Cardinals 41-37

Miami leads Louisville 41-37 after a back-and-forth first half that saw the Canes lead by as many as 6 points and the Cardinals use a 7-0 run to keep it manageable at the break. And by manageable, I mean way too close against an 5-9 team starting guys who don’t look like real basketball players.

But hey, quick turnaround following a loss on the road, ahead of another tough test away from home in Blacksburg this weekend.

The Canes are shooting 55% from the field, 44% from three and 33% at the line while the Cards are hitting 48% of their attempts and 46% from beyond the arc. Individually, Wooga Poplar leads the way with 13 points, followed by Norchad Omier with seven and Matthew Cleveland also at seven. Nijel Pack has added six points and three assist while Kyshawn George has five points, two assists and two steals at the break.

Louisville leading scorer Mike James is continuing his bucket-getting ways, putting up 17 points.
