High-priority Miami target Hylton Stubbs Back on the Market

Thursday afternoon it was said that four-star safety Hylton Stubbs announced his decommitment from the USC Trojans.

Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Alabama and USC are some additional schools in the mix, but Stubbs has been high on the Gators a while.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder is the No. 49 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 4 safety and No. 6 recruit in Florida.

He just recently took a visit to Miami this past weekend and that could of led to his decommitment, as he said the hurricanes really did impress him.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder got his most in-depth look at what the Hurricanes.

Stubbs helped his high school Mandarin each Florida’s 4M title game where he recorded 97 tackles (8.5 TFL), 6 Interceptions, 6 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumbles recovered and 2.5 sacks. The four-star also totaled 84 tackles and 2 interceptions in 2022.
