Hurricanes makes top group for Nate Frazier

Five-star class of 2024 running-back recruit Nate Frazier has announced his top eight schools which includes Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back plays high school football for Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. Mater Dei is one of the top high school football programs in the country. Nate averaged 11.4 yards per carry last season. Frazier had only 61 total carries, but he made the most of his touches. Frazier scored nine rushing touchdowns and recorded 791 rushing yards.

Frazier is a prospect with sprinter speed. He currently hold a PR of 10.58 in the 100-meter dash. The Mater Dei running back ran the football with tenacity and with an explosive burst during the 2022 football season. In the Composite, he’s ranked as the No. 4 running-back in the class and the No. 52 overall recruit.

Currently he has not visited Miami but is looking to come up during the fall and come down to a game. The Oregon Ducks holds a slight lead in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine when it comes to landing him. However, the perceived front-runners are Alabama and Georgia, who have both picked up some steam in his recruitment over the past month. But I would not cut out Miami yet, Mario Cristobal and coach Tim Harris are still going to go after this kid to the end and try to get him on a visit in the fall and show him this Shannon Dawson’s and Tim ” Ice ” Harris’s offense sheme.
