Isaiah Horton looking to feel big role this season

Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Isaiah Horton is looking to fill the shoes of Colbie Young which entered the portal and went to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Today wrapped up day two of the Miami Hurricanes fall practice and a guy I wanted to hear which I didn’t hear much was Horton, and I think he is an underdog out there, a report that came from Carol Soffer said he looked well-built out there when he was practicing.

In his freshman year, he saw action in four games during his debut season Caught one pass and made his Miami debut in a win at Virginia Tech (Oct. 15), catching a 6-yard pass.

In the offseason of last season Isaiah Horton worked on his crafted and ended up starting all 13 games of the season last year for the Miami Hurricanes.

If at least one of Horton or Miami wide receiver Michael Redding are not starting to be true big-play threats before the end of spring, that’s a concern. Game 1 is in the Swamp. Miami needs a full arsenal ready to walk into Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and overwhelm the Florida Gators.
