Jaelyne Matthews Cuts Recruitment To Six Schools

2025 four-star offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews (Toms River, N.J.) has narrowed his recruitment to six schools, including the Miami Hurricanes.

Matthews is down to Georgia, Maryland, Miami, Rutgers, Syracuse, and Tennessee. He’s locked in official visits with Georgia, Miami, and Tennessee and plans to schedule one with Rutgers shortly. 

Matthew told CanesToday that he would visit Miami in the spring during March.

Matthews ranks as the No. 98 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He stands 6-5 and 290 pounds and is one of Miami’s top targets at the offensive tackle position.

In addition to Miami, Matthews holds scholarship offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and West Virginia, among others.
