Jalen Rivers calls Miami’s defensive line ‘the best I have faced’ since he has been at Miami

Day one of fall practice for the Miami Hurricanes just wrapped up and after the practice the media was able to talk to the media as Jalen Rivers called Miami’s defneisve line the best he has faced.

“They’re going to make us better,” Rivers said. “This is probably the best defensive line I’ve faced in my time here. We are going to compete every day. A year ago, Rivers cemented himself as one of the top offensive linemen in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The Jacksonville, Fla., native started all 13 games at left tackle for Miami, earning All-ACC Second Team honors.

In 2023, Rivers helped the Hurricanes post the second-most yards per game (431.2) and the third-highest scoring offense (31.5) in the ACC.
