Leonard Taylor drafted by D.C. Defenders in 2024 UFL College Draft

Former Miami Hurricane defensive tackle Leonard Taylor has just got drafted by the D.C. Defenders in the 2024 UFL College Draft.

He did not make the team for the Jets which signed him in the NFL Draft so he got a backup option to play for the D.C. Defenders.

At his time at the University Of Miami he made a big impacted in the defensive line since he came here, he ended his career at Miami with finishing (2023) with 19 tackles, 3 1/2 tackles for loss, one sack and one quarterback hurry. (2022) 24 total tackles, 11 solo, 13 assist tackles, 3 sacks, and a interception. (2021) 21 total tackles, 7 seven, 14 assist tackles, and had two sacks.

In total, Taylor finishes his UM career with 64 tackles, six sacks, 21 1/2 tackles for loss, seven quarterback hurries and one interception.
