Luke Nickel looked the part of a 4-star QB against the win over American Heritage

Luke Nickel, the esteemed star quarterback of Milton High School, has been committed to Miami Hurricanes for 2025 since August of 2023. He had a big-time performance in the game against the American Heritage Patriots, where he led his team to a 37-28 victory, showcasing his potential as a four-star quarterback.

Nickel faced off against an up-and-coming wide receiver commit, Malachi Toney, who is slated to join the team in 2026. Additionally, he contributed a touchdowns for the Patriots, but was not enough to beat Milton and Luke Nickel’s powerful offense.

In the inaugural season, Milton emerged victorious over a nationally ranked team, Buford (Ga.), with a final score of 13-10. For the season, Nickel completed 13 passes for a total of 167 yards, including a touchdown pass and an interception.

Nickel came out strong in the first quarter as he connected all of his six passes on the first drive and went and scored on that drive after a Dia Bell interception on the opening drive to put Milton up 7-3 early.

In the Milton win over Heritage Nickel had an impressive as he finished the day off with 249 yards and two touchdowns.
