Mario Cristobal liked what he saw from day 1 of Miami’s fall camp practice

The Miami Hurricanes fall camp day one practice just wrapped up today and Mario Cristobal spoke to the media and he was pleased with the Hurricanes and how they did today.

“Day 1, you know the kind of excitement and intensity that brings,” Cristobal said. “They did not disappoint, a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and intensity. The guys worked hard. Day 1 execution type positives and not-so-positives that come with it. But a lot of competition. … That was a really solid first day.

Cristobal also talked about how the excitement and energy is thru the roof

“The excitement right now in this building is through the roof.”

 “There was a lot of competition…From a day one perspective, it was really good.”

He also said the team was not in football team yet as they are trying to turn that around before the Hurricanes kick off against the Gators.
