Miami basketball to play in Charleston Classic
We got a bit more Miami basketball schedule news this week, as Jon Rothstein reported that the Hurricanes will play in the 2024 Charleston Classic Nov. 21-24. They’ll join Seton Hall, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, VCU and Florida Atlantic (along with two teams yet to be named).
The matchups and times as well as television assignments on the ESPN platforms will be announced later.
Miami has been in the Charleston Classic before where the Hurricanes won the Charleston Classic in 2009 and 2014 while going 1-2 in 2019 for a 7-2 record in three appearances.
The Charleston Classic is in its 16th year. Past champions include Houston (2023), College of Charleston (2022), St. Bonaventure (2021) and Florida (2020).
