Miami cant snap their losing streak, Canes come up short to the Eagles 67-57

The Miami Hurricanes cannot snapped the seven-game losing streak in Watsco Center, Miami loses to Boston College 67-57.

Nijel Pack went down in the first half and did not return to the game after he went down to a left knee injury, we will try to keep you updated on his injury.

 UM is not played well enough on offense to pull out any win without Pack. But another poor defensive showing from the ‘Canes doomed them from start to finish in the second half.

This is the first time in 20 years Miami has lost 8 consecutive games.

Miami was up by four at halftime, but Miami left the halftime locker room cold.

Boston College shot 41 percent from the floor, going 10/30 from beyond the arc against Miami. Despite connecting on 33 percent of its own looks, including a 6/27 mark from deep, UM outrebounded Boston College 39-37 and Miami outscored Boston College 26-20 in the paint. The ‘Canes also went 7-11 from the free-throw line.

Three different Hurricanes finished in double-figures, led by Matthew Cleveland (13) Bensley Joseph also had (10). Norchad Omier also finishing with 10 points on 4-11 shooting.

Norchad Omier was great in this game, which he has been the whole year he just got his 16th double-double of his season this year.

Up Next: Miami will play their last regular season game at enemy territory in Tallahassee when the Hurricanes tak on Florida State this Saturday at 4 p.m.
