Miami CB Jaden Davis selected  7th round to the Arizona Cardinals

Another Miami Hurricane is ready to shine on Sundays. defensive back Jaden Davis has been selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the NFL Draft with pick No. 226. 

Davis is the second Hurricane taken, going a round after S Kamren Kinchens, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams with pick No. 99.

2023 (Redshirt Senior): Served as key defensive contributor in only season with Hurricanes…Played in all 13 games and made 12 starts in secondary…Ranked first among all cornerbacks with 42 total tackles (32 solo)…Added 3.0 tackles for loss, one sack and two forced fumbles…Credited with four PBUs…Started season opener against Miami (Ohio) (Sept. 1) and totaled three solo stops…Named ACC Defensive Back of the Week for dominant outing against Texas A&M (Sept. 9)…Started and finished with eight total tackles, two tackles for loss, one PBU and one forced fumble against Aggies…Started in win over Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 14)…Tallied five solo stops and started in road win at Temple (Sept. 23)…Started at Georgia Tech (Oct. 7) and had three total tackles…Had one solo tackle and started at North Carolina (Oct. 14)…Started in 2OT win over Clemson (Oct. 21) and played key role in stifling defensive performance…Had three tackles and one PBU in win over Tigers…Had five tackles and started in win over Virginia (Oct. 28)…Delivered strong performance in start at NC State, finishing with 9-yard sack, one forced fumble and four total tackles…Played at Florida State (Nov. 11) and had one tackle…Started against Louisville (Nov. 18) and had pair of solo stops…Started at Boston College (Nov. 24) and finished with one solo stop in regular season finale…Started 2023 Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl against Rutgers (Dec. 28) and had six total tackles (four solo).
