Miami Hurricanes 2025 edge rusher football commit Herbert Scroggins previews his cookout visit to Miami this weekend.
“What I want to see the most is the rest of the committed players just seeing my future teammates,” said Scroggins.
Herbert was mainly recruited by Miami’s defensive line coach Jason Taylor and Coach Joe. Each played a key role in his decision.
Scorggins of Savannah (GA. is the nation’s No. 407 overall prospect, according to the 247Sports, they also have him ranked as the No. 29 player at the edge and they have in the No. 46 in the state of Georgia.
Before getting to UM, Herbert wants to get more disciplined, staying low, and getting more explosive. Most of all, Herbert is ready to bring some glory back to Miami.
Scorggins, the junior tape is the overall athletic profile. Miami’s latest commit needs to add mass and improve pass rush technique, but the raw tools are there. Works can run, jump, and pursue the quarterback.
