Miami football announces uniform combo for North Carolina game
Chapel Hill is going to look like the set of Star Wars on Saturday night. Miami football is planning to rock the all-white stormtrooper look when they take on the No. 12 North Carolina.
The Hurricanes will go with the classic white helmets, white jerseys, and white pants against North Carolina — a typical combination for road or neutral games. This will be the first time this season Miami sports the all-white look. The last time the ‘Hurricanes went with white jerseys and white pants was in 2021 when Miami did play UNC, where Miami lost that game 45-42, Miami is 0/2 on the stormtroopers against North Carolina in the last 5 years.
In the Mario Cristobal era, this will be the first time Mario Cristobal will see the all-white uniform combo on the field. Kickoff against North Carolina is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST on ABC at Kenan Memorial Saturday night. Xavier Restrepo was this week’s uniform model.
