Miami Football: Hurricanes flip four-star EDGE Elias Rudolph from Michigan

The Miami Hurricanes continue to dominate the recruiting trail with defensive linemen, especially in the state of Florida, as Mario Cristobal and company just got a commitment from four-star Edge Elias Rudolph.

Rudolph flipped from Michigan to Miami, and he also chose Miami over Ohio State, Cincinnati, Penn State, and Pitt.

Rudolph was offered by the Hurricanes in late May 2022, but since May he unofficially visited the Hurricanes three times. His latest visit was back in late July when he came down with many defensive line players such as, Lake Cormorant, five-star Kamarion Franklin. And a Miami Hurricanes verbal defensive line commit Marquise Lightfoot.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder is from Cincinnati, but transferred to Deerfield Beach, Florida for his junior season. at his time as a junior in 2022 for Deerfield Beach High School he compiled 80, tackles and 19 sacks.

With the addition of Rudolph, Miami now has two EDGE rushers in the class, with him and Lightfoot.

Rudolph is ranked No. 44 in the state of Florida, No. 23 at the EDGE position and No. 291 overall on the 247Sports composite.
