Miami Football: Hurricanes gets a verbal commit from three-star offensive lineman

The Hurricanes coaching is starting to get rolling now after Miami gets back-to-back verbal commits with yesterday begin a four-star defensive lineman, Elias Rudolph. And today Miami’s coaching staff was notified that three-star offensive lineman Kavion Broussard has verbally committed to the Hurricanes.

He committed to the Hurricanes over Arkansas State, Cincinnati, FSU, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Missouri, TCU, Texas Tech, and Tulane.

The 6-foot-6, 276-pounder is from Louisiana, where he plays football at Zachary High School. At his time at the starting left tackle for the Broncos that went 10-3 and reached the Louisiana Division I Non-Select state semifinals.

Broussard is rated as the No. 48 offensive tackle in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite. He also ranks as the No. 18 player in the state of Louisiana and the No. 615 player in the 2024 recruiting class.

With the addition of Broussard this will be the Hurricanes fourth offensive lineman commit in the 2024 class. The room is led by three-star Offensive tackle Deryc Plazz, three-star offensive tackle Juan Minaya, and three-star inside offensive lineman Nino Francavilla.
