Miami Football: Hurricanes offer four-star DL Notre Dame verbal commit

Hurricanes have been offering 2025 and 2024 prospects lately and one of those offers went to Notre Dame commit Davion Dixson.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder from Miami, Florida is committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and also got a impressive offer list including the Hurricanes, Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, Florida State, Penn State, and others. Considering that he is still a high school sophomore right now the early recruitment by big-time power five programs says a lot about how Dixson may develop over the next two season of high school football.

The big man is rated as the 30th defensive lineman and 302nd overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite.

With Jason Taylor as defensive line coach I would not count Dixson out on Miami. It always seems like now all the defensive linemen prospects are now all considering the Hurricanes. And Miami has yet to get a commit in the 2025 cycle.
