Defensive line coach Jason Taylor seems to be spearheading the recruitment of Amare Adams, a 2025 defensive line recruit from South Carolina. The lineman is viewed as one of the top 50 players in the country at this early stage according to 247Sports.

Amare Adams is a 6-foot-6, 275-pound, four-star defensive lineman from South Florence, South Carolina, where he plays for Lake City High School. The Lake City Panthers finished the 2022 season 4-6 and failed to make the playoffs in class 3A.

Adams is currently Crystal Balled to go to South Carolina, and the Gamecocks are a 92% favorite to land him per On3.

Adams has violent hands and quick feet that allow him to get into the backfield and disrupt any play.
