Miami has a good chance of landing a 2026 quarterback after recent offer from the Hurricanes, expecting to make decision soon

Miami Hurricanes quarterback targets such as Brady Hart that committed to Michigan, Tia Bell that committed to Texas, and Brady Smigiel committing to Florida State has all fount there home despite still having two more years of high school left.

Miami does have two commitments in the 2026 class with Jordan Campbell and Malachi Toney already being involved in the 2026 Miami class and according to Gaby Urrituia in the long run he thinks Miami could add Dereon Coleman to the class.

Coleman recently came on a visit to Miami this past weekend and he was on the Miami Hurricanes campus yesterday afternoon.

Has we though that Oklahoma was the long time lead in his recruitment Miami made a impressive to him when Miami extended a offer to him when he was at the Miami 7v7 camp this past weekend.

He talked with CanesToday and this is what he had to say about the Hurricanes offering him and his first impressions along with how he did at the camp.

“1st impression was finally!! The U is a brotherhood. Today I was feeling really good. I just got the ball to my playmakers. It was a good day as a unit. Shout out to our defense as well. They made some big steps to get us the ball back on offense. A great squad championship”. said Coleman.

Coleman is being highly recruited by the Oklahoma Sooners where he was a fan of them growing up and as of right now they are the heavily favourite in his recruitment and his decision date might be coming up soon.

Again, It is so early in his recruitment right now so things could shake up somewhere in his recruitment down throat his journey as a prospect, as of right now he is being crystal ball to Oklahoma, but Miami seems like they are gaining on him and according to Gaby he would not be surprised if the Hurricanes get crystal balled for him.
