Miami Hurricanes Land in Top 8 for 2025 TE Logan Brooking

The four-star tight end included the Hurricanes amongst his top eight schools list on Wednesday.

Brooking included Hurricanes alongside Clemson, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Penn State, South Carolina and Stanford as the teams moving forward in contention for his services.

Rated as a four-star prospect per 247Sports Composite, Brooking is labeled as the nation’s tenth-best tight end in the upcoming cycle.

Brooking’s recruitment initially exploded in the spring and continued into the summer, as he garnered offers from 17 Division-I programs from May to August. It brought his total offer sheet to 27 teams.

After scouring the market, Brooking elected to pin down the eight schools he’d focus on moving forward. The Hurricanes, who are casting a rather wide net at the position of need in the next cycle, fell into that category.

Miami currently holds one commit at the position in the 2024 cycle with Las Vegas (NV.) product Elija Lofton set to fulfill a spot at tight end.
