Miami Hurricanes News: Four-star EDGE Booker Pickett Names Top Schools

Four-star pass rusher Booker Pickett Jr. has named his top five schools. Pickett Jr. plays high school football for Wharton High School in Tampa, Florida.

The rising senior defensive end is the No. 190 player in the class of 2024 and the No. 13 Edge rusher. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Wharton star continues adding to his frame. Pickett Jr. is considered the No. 27 player in the state of Florida.

The Wharton defensive end consistently works his way into the opposing backfield. Pickett Jr. has a great speed rush and a nifty spin move. The four-star is lightning quick off the snap and is a quarterback-sacking machine. Pickett Jr. is very productive at the high school level.

Pickett visited Miami in the winter of 2024. The Hurricanes have the No. 17 class of 2024. The Hurricanes have one commitment from edge rusher Marquise Lightfoot in the class of 2024.
