Miami Hurricanes News: Hurricanes top wide receiver 5-star Jeremiah Smith canceled his visit to Penn state and decided to come down to Coral Gables instead

As we all know the name Jeremiah Smith, he has been one of the top targets if not the top target Miami has on their board as of right now. Earlier today Smith decided to cancel his visit to Penn State and will come down to South Florida to officially visit the Canes instead.

Smith is the No. 3 prospect in the nation, Smith is also the No. 1 wide receiver in his class and the No. 1 prospect in the Sunshine State all of this is according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

Smith is verbally committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes, Smith goes to the Chaminade-Madonna Prep High School. That is where 5-star recruit Josiaha Trader goes to also and both of these playmakers got Miami high on their boards.

Smith stats are unbelievable at Chaminade-Madonna Prep High School here is some of Smith’s stats, lasted year he ended up with 58 receptions, 1,073 receiving Yards, 18.5 average yards per catch, 82.5 yards per game and with 20 touchdowns.
