The 2024 Miami Hurricanes recruiting is stocked full of defensive talent, and also has four commits on the offensive side of the ball.

Head coach Mario Cristobal is working hard on that avenue and one of those targets is Illinois 5-star defensive tackle Justin Scott. The massive interior lineman, who stands 6-foot-4-intches, and weights 310 pounds, recently dropped four schools that he will officially visit

Scott is the 13th- ranked prospect, third DL and top recruit in Illinois in the 2024 class per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. The On3 industry ranking has Scott as the 11t-best prospect, third DL and the top recruit in Illinois per On3.” The Hurricanes odds rose following industry updates.” that was probably related to Wiltfong’s crystal ball.

Wiltfong stated on his podcast that he likes where Miami is right now for Scott. Getting the crystal ball from Wiltfong who is one of the most well-connected and known national recruiting analysts is a positive for Miami. The Hurricanes are attempting tp sign their second straight top 10 class.

Miami Hurricanes made the cut along with Ohio State, Michigan, and Georgia. The good news for the canes is that Steven Wagener on the On3 website officially lock in his crystal ball projection to the Miami Hurricanes. Scott comes on a visit in early June so if that goes really well I think we can get a commitment out of him.

Scott is a priority target for the Hurricanes and will surely roll out the red carpet for the 5-star prospect when he arrives on his visit at the beginning of June.
