Miami Hurricanes News: Miami Hurricanes pick up Elija Lofton out of Las Vegas, NV

The Miami Hurricanes just picked up their 11th commitment in the 2024 cycle.

Playing in a mulit-faceted offense like the Miami Hurricanes do, finding versatile prospects like Elija Lofton has become a must. He stands at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds and the Hurricane’s coaching staff is very excited to see him on Greentree next year.

Lofton is the 350th prospect in the country, the 16th best tight end and the top player in Nevada out of Las Vegas Bishop Gorman in the 2024 class. Now you might recognize the High school’s name and that’s cause of 4-star TE, Brevin Jordan and is now the tight end for the Texans.

Lofton has racked up some huge number for his high school he accomplished. 1,263 yards, 52 receptions, 24.3 yards per catch, with 19 touchdowns in his last two seasons.
