Miami Hurricane’s RB impressed me this year, three Miami RB’s finished over 400 yards this season

Talk about a great way to end the regular season with a blow-out win against Boston College, Miami had success at the passing game yesterday, but if we are talking about the whole season the rushing attack gets the award.

Miami had three players that finished this season over 400 yards, those three people are Henry Parrish, Mark Fletcher, and Don Chaney Jr, with Ajay Allen coming up short of 300 yards.

Mark Fletcher

Leading the running-back group this year was true-freshman Mark Fletcher, Fletcher ended up with 468 yards on 91 carries. Fletcher averages a solid 5.1 yards per carry, his longest touchdown was 51-yards with 4-touchdowns this season.

Henry Parrish

Behind true freshman Mark Fletcher is Henry Parrish, Parrish solidified himself as the starter starting the season but mid-season, he ended up having an injury sending him back in the depth chart to No. 3 in the RB group, but still made a big impacted in the Hurricane’s running game with him racking up 468-yards on 78 carries. He averaged 6.0-yards per carry, and his longest rush was 37 yards for 4-touchdowns.

Donald Chaney Jr.

As we know Donald Chaney Jr. been dealing with some injuries these past two seasons, but he finally got a chance to play this season as a sophomore and he took advantage of that, he racked up 467-yards on 91 carries, he averaged 5.1 yards per carry and had 2-touchdowns on the ground.

Ajay Allen

Ajay Allen came up huge in tons of games, and he’s only a sophomore, he ended with 282-yards on 58 carries, he averaged 4.9 yards per carry, and had 4-touchdowns to end the regular season.

Conclusion

Miami has a nice running back group and the most exciting news of all. ALL THESE RUNNING BACKS ARE COMING BACK NEXT YEAR! I’m ready to watch these guys take the field in the bowl game whenever that is released, and I am sure ready to see these guys next year.

Let CanesToday know what you think about this running-back group does Miami need to go to the portal to get another RB, to recreate the 01′ RB group?
