Miami Hurricanes rise up to the No. 18 spot in the AP Poll

Following a 41-7 road victory over Temple on Saturday, Miami football is rising up in the AP Poll with Miami being placed at the No. 18 spot.

Miami (4-0, 0-0 ACC) received 523 votes after receiving 359 last week. It is the first 4-0 start for the Hurricanes since 2017.

Miami is off this week and will return to action on Oct. 7 against Georgia Tech at Hard Rock Stadium to begin Atlantic Coast Conference play.

Miami is one of four Atlantic Coast Conference teams who are ranked, joining No. 5 Florida State (4-0, 2-0), No. 15 North Carolina (4-0, 1-0) and No. 17 Duke (4-0, 1-0). Syracuse (4-0, 0-0) and Louisville (4-0, 2-0) also received votes as two of the six ACC teams who have started 4-0.
