Miami is a No. 9 seed! (and other Bracketology notes)

In Lunardi’s latest Bracketology update from Monday morning, he kept the Miami Hurricanes in the pecking order. Miami is still a No. 9 seed in the projected field for the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Lunardi has the Hurricanes taking on No. 8 seed Ole Miss Rebels Indianapolis as part of the Midwest (Detroit) Region. UM is in a region that includes No. 1 seed Purdue and No. 2 seed Kentucky.

In this scenario, a win for Miami in the first round would set up a second-round matchup against the winner of No. 1 seed Purdue and a No. 16 seed.

Lunardi will keep the Bracketology updates rolling every Tuesday and Friday through Selection Sunday on March 17.

We’re starting to come around on you, Joe. Keep it up.
